Collection and Shipping Information
Important Note on Delivery Times: We cannot provide a
precise delivery time frame for online orders. For a more accurate estimate,
please get in touch via Contact us page. Remember, however, that the timelines
provided are only estimates, and we will not be held accountable for any
delays. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.
All delivery charges on our site are estimates and may
change, you will be notified of any price changes.
All estimated delivery time and delivery cost on our site
are for the city of Melbourne. For outside Melbourne, please contact us first.
Otherwise, the delivery fee may differ and the responsibility belongs to the
customer.
Home Shipping: Once your order is ready for dispatch, we
will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time. Make sure your address
and phone number on the invoice are correct.
Due to varying driver schedules and workloads, we cannot
provide an exact delivery time. However, for your convenience, our drivers may
call or text you before arriving at your home. Please ensure your contact
information is accurate.
*Note: Our delivery drivers can transport furniture up
stairs or via lift, but an additional charge of $20 applies per floor. You must
present a valid photo ID upon delivery.
Guidelines for Home Deliveries: To ensure a smooth delivery
process, please consider the following:
• Clear the delivery path of any pictures, mirrors, nails,
plants, and tables. Our drivers require reasonable access and will not be
responsible for any damage caused due to inadequate access. • Remove any
fragile items from the delivery area. • Protect your floors with rugs,
blankets, or casters during the delivery as our drivers are not permitted to
remove their footwear due to OH&S laws. • If placing furniture on wooden
floors, use cloth pieces under the legs or casters. • New furniture may appear
larger in your home than in the store. We recommend one final measurement
before delivery if you have concerns about space and size. • Our delivery team
cannot move existing furniture or fragile items in your home. •
Ready-to-assemble items will not be assembled upon delivery, including some
beds. • We cannot provide exact delivery times. • Any damages should be
reported instantly to the driver. • Ensure someone is at home on the delivery
day to avoid additional delivery charges. • Please note that ARIF LIVING is not
responsible for removing packaging material or rubbish resulting from the
packaging of your order.
Please keep these guidelines in mind to ensure a seamless
delivery experience.
Receipt of Items Upon delivery, we strongly recommend
thoroughly examining your item for any potential issues, documenting any
problems on the delivery document. After conducting a careful inspection and
signing the acceptance form, ARIF LIVING will not be liable for any defects
that may occur from regular use.
Customer Collection Collections are strictly by appointment
only. The option to pick up your furniture directly from our warehouses or
selected stores is available, but it must be pre-arranged. Please refer to the
below schedule for collection times.
Please note, due to health and safety regulations, our
warehouse personnel are unable to assist with the lifting of items during
collection. It is advisable to bring along an extra pair of hands to help with
the heavy lifting.
It is crucial to open and scrutinize your furniture
carefully upon collection. Your signature will be required to confirm receipt
of the product in satisfactory condition. Conduct a comprehensive inspection
on-site and immediately report any concerns to our team. ARIF LIVING cannot be
held accountable for any damage that occurs after the furniture has left our
premises.
If you plan to collect your furniture, please contact the
store at least a week prior to your intended collection date. Due to health and
safety regulations, neither our warehouse staff nor sales team can assist with
the lifting of items during collection. Ensure you have someone to assist you
when collecting your items from the stores. Also, bring sufficient wrapping
material, blankets, or other protective materials to safely transport your
items. Since items can be opened and inspected at our warehouse or stores, they
may not come packaged or wrapped for collection.
For security purposes, you will be asked to present a
driver's license when collecting your furniture. If you wish to authorize a
friend or relative to collect the furniture on your behalf, please inform us at
the time of purchase.
